Torre Candleholder
The candle holders are made of ceramic, handcrafted in grog clay. The clay is fired two to three times at temperatures ranging from 900 to 1400 degrees. A process in which the object achieves a strength similar to that of a stone. Through assembly, modeling, sculpting, and various firings, the object reveals itself. The clay is an almost “living” material with its movements between drying and firing, making each piece unique. The curves are irregular and imperfect, and the dimensions may vary slightly.
