Crafted by the Senufo people, this culturally significant wooden stool – aslo found in neighbouring Mali and Burkina Faso – features intricate carvings, including a symbolic burnt-in crocodile motif, serving both utilitarian and ceremonial purposes. Possibly early-to-mid 20th century.
