Mini Mantle Vase 1930s
A smaller version of the larger mantle vase by Fulham Pottery, circa 1930s. Curved ‘hands on the hips’ handles, undulating body, an oval footed base with a glaze finish. Designed by William J Marriner in 1936/37 for the Alber Ware range for Fulham Pottery. Mariner was a long time employee working alongside Florence Steadfast who was designing her friend, Constance Spry, infamous pieces.
