Matisse on Art Book
This book collects and organizes Henri Matisse’s writings on art. Although Matisse is valued as one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century and occupies a prominent place in major modern art publications, and although he publicly shared his reflections on his work for nearly fifty years, his writings have gone largely unnoticed.
Through this work, we seek to bring these texts to the public and students of modern art, promoting a deeper understanding of his artistic thought and legacy.
