“Mara T” Side Table – Silver Noise
Mara series is a family of laminated furniture pieces. Named after my late grandmother Mara, it’s inspired by her kitchen, which was entirely covered in laminate. During my childhood in Serbia, laminate was very popular and beloved. A durable material, not precious, and easy to clean. This collection is an ongoing exploration of how to break down archetype shapes into more surfaces – then laminate them to create different graphic experiences.
Mara ‘Silver Noise’ in a T shape is a side table. It features a simple shape with surface extrusions, creating a dynamic look that changes depending on the angle from which you view it. The textured gray contrasts the textures silver.
