Harald Notini Decanter 1930s
This Frosted glass carafe was designed by Harald Notini, one of Stockholm’s renowned designers. Son of the well-known sculptor Axel Notini, he received his training in sculpting and interior architecture at Konstfäck (Stockholm’s Art & Industrial School). From the 1920s Swedish Grace period to the 1940s-1950s Swedish Modernism, Notini’s designs were highly acclaimed. He worked at Böhlmarks until the age of 75, only a year before his passing. Notini’s works can be found at the National Museum, Stockholm. This piece was manufactured by Pukebergs Glass Makers in Sweden during the 1930s and is in excellent condition with the original factory sticker.
