Draped Vase Apparel
The DRAPÉ vase, with its two complementary forms, challenges the codes of a traditional vase. The floral composition combined with the vase aesthetic creates a sculptural object that leaves to contemplate, each day, a different and singular piece.
These 5 vases with singular shapes are inspired by the movements of fabric, leather or clothing when they are handled or worn on a body. These forms, where randomness finds its place, have an aesthetic all about curves and flexibility. Shaped with the slab building technique, we then take a mould of the design to freeze its shape. The vase is finally slip casted in white porcelain.
